They closed 2 supercuts in our area. Corporate just went in and told the manager that the store is closed. She up and quit!!!!! Walked out!!!!!
I dont think theyll mess with our store. We make money!!!!!
It looks like it is going to rain all day today. Not sure what I am going to do.

Paulette, At least you slept enough to "pass" the sleep study. I was wide awake almost all night. At 3am they sent me home! I flunked and had to "practice" with a mask for a couple of hours in the daytime, in the office and then try again. All of those electrodes! How can they expect anyone, especially those with sleep problems to sleep. Finally dozed enough it qualify with moderately severe sleep apnea. The good news, after 4 months and losing 100 lbs following RNY I no longer have sleep apnea. Still don't sleep great as the mind is going most of the time but it's not breathing related. I think if I had taken my CD player and some instrumental CDs I might have been able to go to sleep the first time. Put me in a strange environment, like a motel, and I rarely get much sleep. Motels are a waste of money for me!

Thanks Karen, I'm glad I didn't have to wear a mask, the wires were enough. I actually thought I got about 4 hours sleep. I guess now I have to wait till I hear from the doc and see what happens next...I sleep terrible in hotels/motels too, too much outside noise. I usually take earplugs, or leave the tv on. have a great weekend, Paulette
Paulette, I am glad that the biopsy went good and it isn't to uncomfortable for you.
That was great news that you got the sleep study done earlier. One more down and that is good no it is GREAT!
When I had my sleep study I had to go in for another one and that one was with a mask or nasal canula. I used the mask because I couldn't keep my mouth shut while I had the other one on. lol Is that any surprise that I couldn't keep my mouth shut? Didn't think so! lol Well, back to the sleep study. They will be putting you on a machine. I tired so hard to think of the name of it and it is there but it is hiding among all the other stuff that I forgot! But be prepared for the machine because honey you are getting it!
My cousin use to give the sleep study tests and she told me that there is a test that you can have for while you are losing weight. That way if the pressure needs to come down which it usually does the more weight that you lose it is accurate and they know it sooner. I forgot the name of it (are we surprised?) but I will find it out from her. She was good at that and she started several of the sleep study places in this area. In fact the woman that gave me mine was taught by Linda and when I mentioned she was my cousin she kept telling me that she wouldn't be doing them if it wasn't for Linda. She told me that there was times when she first learned it she would call Linda at night with questions.

Hi Brenda, I was so happy when they called to tell me they had a cancellation that I was afraid i wouldn't be able to sleep. No problem...I kept dozing off just while waiting for them to get me all hooked up. I remembered waking up quite a few times, but the night went quickly. I think the machine is called a C-pap. My son in law has sleep apnea and has one and he had to go back and get it recalibrated or something after his tonsilectomy & nose surgery. They had to break his nose because the one side passage was almost totally closed. I offered to break it for free but he declined...go figure!LOL!! My husband had sleep apnea really bad but had surgery for it and has not had any recurrence and doesn't need cpap or anything now.. BTW did you see my ticker???...245 toot toot. Hugs, paulette
Paulette,
Glad you had your sleep study; if you didn't get enough REM sleep (rapid-eye movement, this is when you are in deep sleep and are dreaming ... when you get the most restful sleep) you are not breathing well. You may need a CPAP machine. I also have sleep apnea, but it's mild; I'm basically a mouth breather, more because of my allergies and my anatomy than because of my weight; I still had sleep apnea after I lost my weight but don't need a CPAP ... had a second sleep study done last year. They may also put you on some medication to help you sleep, like an antidepressant. Some who have fibromyalgia have sleep disorders and get an antidepressant at bedtime to get more restful sleep, therefore allowing the serotonin levels to adjust. I take elavil at night; it makes me drowsy enough; this allows the microtears in the muscles to heal. Or so I've read. There's some thought that those with fibro have sleep disorders. Anyway, that's something that you may have to deal with too.
